Brixton Car Hire Agreement

Renting a Vehicle in Brixton
- To rent a vehicle from our Brixton location, you must be at least 21 years old. Specific age restrictions may apply depending on the vehicle type, with extra fees for drivers under 25. A valid full driving license for the appropriate vehicle category, held for the duration specified in the Rental Agreement, is required. Additionally, valid identification and proof of your current address must be provided, along with payment information and a security deposit. 3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be made easily via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Brixton location. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment along with a security deposit is generally required upon vehicle pickup. All charges are listed in British Pounds (£), inclusive of VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, ensuring secure transactions through trusted payment processors.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection, it is your responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection and promptly report any pre-existing damage. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed to document the state of the vehicle. Upon return, the vehicle should be in the same condition as when collected, taking normal wear and tear into account. Any new damage will be assessed and charges may apply. The vehicle must also be returned with the same fuel level; failure to do so will result in refueling charges. Late returns may incur additional fees, so please contact us as soon as possible if you anticipate a delay. You will be liable for any parking fines, traffic violations, or other charges incurred during your rental, along with an administration fee.
5. Liability and Coverage
- All car rentals come with basic third-party insurance. For comprehensive coverage details and excess amounts, please refer to your Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to minimize your financial responsibility. Review these options carefully, as you will be liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess, unless further coverage is obtained. Damage resulting from negligence or misuse remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance status.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and modification policies differ based on your booking selection and the amount of notice provided. Please check your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for precise information. Be aware that late cancellations or failure to show may incur additional charges.
Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses in Brixton
- Prohibited activities include using the vehicle for any unlawful purposes or engaging in high-risk activities such as racing, rallying, or off-roading. Transporting hazardous materials, sub-letting the vehicle, or allowing unauthorized drivers is not permitted. Driving under the influence of substances, exceeding weight or passenger limits, and operating outside designated geographical boundaries without prior approval are also violations of our terms.
